The University was the highest ranking Scottish University in the 2020 Complete University Guide and was judged to be the third best university in the UK. St Andrews was also named UK University of the year in The Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2020. The 2020 Guardian University Guide ranked the University of St Andrews as the second best university in the UK, overtaking Oxford for the first time and only surpassed by Cambridge. According to the QS University World Rankings 2020, St Andrews is one of the world’s top 100 universities.

Meet Us

There are plenty of opportunities to meet university staff, both in St Andrews and elsewhere. Whether you have questions about your application or student life, or you would like to meet a member of staff from the School you wish to study in, you can do so no matter where you live. You can potentially meet our staff in your country, at a visiting day in St Andrewsor through an online or virtual session.
